About MPS Servo Motors
The MPS Servo Motors is a high-performance servo motor series from Allen-Bradley. The MP series servo motors are made up of stainless steel and they are designed for use in harsh washdown environments. These motors use the benefits of Allen-Bradley Kinetix integrated motion control to support a greater range of applications even in high-pressure conditions. These motors are widely used in the food, beverage, and manufacturing industries. They are available with a wide range of torque options from 11.1 to 27.1 N-m. The MPS Servo Motors can be integrated with the Allen-Bradley Kinetix 6000, Ultra 3000, and the Ultra 5000 series servo drives. These servo motors are manufactured compactly and tightly for maximum protection and maximum corrosion resistance. All the MPS series servo motors have an armature voltage of 460 Volts.
The MPS Servo Motors are equipped with high-resolution feedback devices with the option of absolute feedback. They are also available with a multi-turn high-resolution and single-turn high-resolution encoder. The motors are also available with different speed ratings of 3000 and 5000 RPM. The enclosures of these motors have keyed shaft extensions. To connect the MPS Servo Motors with the manufacturing plant, they use circular DIN connectors with 3 meters of cable. The motors are available with braking and non-braking options. The torque rating also varies between 3.6 and 8.1 N-m in different variants. The MPS Servo Motors can accommodate and withstand a maximum shock acceleration of 20 G and a maximum shock duration of 6 milliseconds. The MPS series Servo Motors come with a temperature rating between 0 and 70 degrees Celsius. The MPS Servo Motors have been recognized by the UL standards.
