About TLY and TL Servo Motors

Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation manufactures the TLY and TL servo motor series. The TLY and TL series servo motors are economical solutions for the machine designers and they all come designed to be able to meet a wide range of industrial application requirements. The TLY and TL series servo motors are designed to provide a substantial amount of power in a small and compact device. These units feature a high-torque density, and they come with superior stator designs. The TLY and TL series servo motors feature tight position control for delivering a 17-bit resolution. The units under the TLY and TL series servo motors are designed to deliver performance with multi-turn high-resolution feedback, and they come with battery backup available. This ensures that these units deliver a high level of availability for achieving optimal performance.

The TLY and TL series servo motors control the high load-to-motor rotor inertia ratio while maintaining a high level of stability. The units are all designed with on-board memory for helping to retain motor identity. The TLY and TL series servo motors support the serial communication options that automatically reports the motor identity to the drive. The available frame sizes under the TLY and TL series servo motors include 46 millimeters, 70 millimeters, 90 millimeters, and 100 millimeters. The TLY and TL series servo motors come with the integral 24 Volts braking options. To ensure a longer product life, the TLY and TL series servo motors should be properly installed. Therefore, during the installation, only technicians who are familiar with the TLY and TL series servo motors performance requirements, as well as their safety features, should be allowed to work with the servo motors.
