About MicroLogix 1100

The MicroLogix 1100 series is a family of controllers created by Allen-Bradley. These controllers are known for their wide range of features and the level of versatility that they provide to the control industry. The controllers from this family feature 2 embedded analog inputs that include 10 digital inputs and 6 digital outputs. At the same time, these controllers come with built-in RS-232/RS-485 ports and a second EtherNet/IP port that enables peer-to-peer messaging. The Allen-Bradley MicroLogix 1100 controllers come with a great memory unit that enables them to solve different applications. Besides this memory unit, online editing is possible for these controllers through the RSLogix 500 and RSLogix Micro starter software. These controllers also come equipped with embedded real-time clocks and embedded web servers with the option of using email and an optional memory unit that can be used for external program back-up.

The Allen-Bradley MicroLogix 1100 controllers come with built-in LCDs that work as human-machine interfaces. Through this display, the users can revise, edit, send, and receive data. The operating conditions for these controllers are a temperature range of 0 to 55 degrees Celsius and relative humidity range of 5 to 95%. Operating vibrations of 2 to 500 Kilohertz are accepted. The controllers need a space of 2 inches on each side of them to promote ventilation and avoid overheating. The Allen-Bradley MicroLogix 1100 controllers have been designed to operate with AC or DC input types and power supplies and with an output type that can be a relay or include DC voltage.
