About Panelview 1400

The Allen-Bradley manufactured PanelView 1400 terminals series is a display terminal series. These terminals are widely used as human-machine interface modules. They come with different user interface features and they have functional keys, cursor keys, numeric keypads, touchscreen displays, and touch cells. They use Ethernet, RS 232, ControlNet, DeviceNet, and Remote I/O ports for connectivity. The PanelView 1400 series has a wide variety of terminals to choose from. The terminals in this series have a maximum power consumption of 200 Volts. The total application flash memory of these terminals is 1008 KB. The 1400 series terminals deliver improved performance and they provide better lifespans for connected automation devices. They feature flat LCD screen technology. These display terminals are designed for easier integration processes. The PanelView 1400 terminals are equipped with RAM of up to 256 KB.

The PanelView 1400 terminals are good replacements for traditional control panels. These terminals can be directly connected to an Allen-Bradley remote I/O, Data Highway plus, or the ControlNet link network. These terminals can work with both operating shocks and non-operating shocks of 15 G and 30 G, respectively. The terminals in this series are available with different dimensions and weights. The terminals in the PanelView 1400 series dissipate less heat than their competitors. The frequency range of these terminals ranges from 5 to 2000 Hertz. These terminals use lithium batteries for their real-time clocks. The 1400 series terminals meet the standards like the CSA, ENCL, UL 50, NEMA 4X, and the IEC standards when they are used in stud mount enclosures. The terminals are also approved by safety standards including the UL 508, CUL, and the EU low voltage standards.
