About Panelview 900

The PanelView 900 series is a series of Allen-Bradley standard operator terminals featuring monochrome displays. The optional color display PanelView 900 series devices are no longer available. The Allen-Bradley PanelView 900 monochrome terminals feature touchscreen displays and they support storefront files on the memory card. The PanelView 900 terminals also come with the power connection terminals for connecting to external power sources. The units also come with nameplate labels for providing product information for user references. The reset button is used for resetting the terminals and the units come with memory card slots for accepting the memory cards that store applications. The memory card slots are used to perform the application upgrades and for performing data logging.

The PanelView 900 terminals have status indicators that are used for showing the device status. The red LED lights indicate the fault statuses while the green LED lights show that device communication is occurring. The DH-485 communication ports connect to the SLCs or the MicroLogix Controllers. The PanelView 900 series also supports RS-232 communication ports for connecting to the Channel O ports.
