About Panelview Plus 1000
Designed and built by Allen-Bradley, the PV Plus 1000 series is a series of terminals used for controlling and monitoring applications. These HMI devices provide EtherNet and Serial communication, and they are easily integrated with applications. The PV Plus 1000 terminals come with an analog resistive touchscreen, and which supports a graphic color display. The PV Plus 1000 terminals also come with keypad and touchscreen support, ensuring an easy user experience. The PV Plus 1000 series terminals are built with modular communication interfaces for ensuring easy add-on capabilities. The unit comes with memory slots for supporting memory expansion modules for field upgrades of up to 256 MB of RAM and up to 512 MB of CompactFlash. The CompactFlash card slot supports the Type 1 CompactFlash cards.
The PV Plus 1000 terminals also support USB ports for providing easy connections to the external devices, including a sales terminal, keyboard, mouse, or printer. The PV Plus 1000 terminals also come with field-replaceable bezels and use the standard or the CE Logic modules. The PV Plus 1000 series terminals feature logic modules containing an SDRAM and they come with flash memory. The logic modules can come with an internal CompactFlash or without. Note that the content of the internal CompactFlash is what differentiates the PanelView devices. The PV Plus 1000 terminals support the battery-backed real-time clocks. The PV Plus 1000 terminals support the use of communication modules with the network interface to the base configuration units of the terminals. This increases the communication capability with the DH+ or DH-485 networks.
