About Panelview Plus 700

The Allen-Bradley PV Plus 700 operator interface terminals are a family of modularly designed operator interface devices designed to provide complete visual and control interface to a wide range of machine-level applications. The PanelView 700 terminals offer the users graphical visual interfaces to machine status updates, operating processes, and machine control, and they come preloaded with the pre-activated FactoryTalk View Machine Edition runtime and terminal programming software. The PV Plus 700 terminal family offers both AC and DC power options with input ranges of 85 to 264 Volts AC (47 to 63 Hertz) and 18 to 32 Volts DC (24 Volt DC nominal). The PV Plus 700 terminals support modular configuration which provides flexibility in configuration, installation, and upgrades, and they come in both factory and user-assembly configurations depending on the users’ application needs. The PV Plus 700 family features TFT color graphics on their LCD modules with keypad, touch/keypad, and touch-only operator input options. The touchscreens have analog resistive display surfaces that are resistive to touch and can be operated with gloves.

The PV Plus 700 terminals all have detachable logic modules has up to 446 MB of flash memory, 2 USB ports, a compact flash card slot, a 10/100 BaseT Ethernet port, a serial communication port for file transfer and connection to the logic controller, and a battery-backed real-time internal clock. The communication modules with network interfaces can be attached to the PV Plus 600 terminals for improved communication capabilities. All the PV Plus 700 terminals are configured by using the Windows-based FactoryTalk View Machine Edition software, which provides a runtime platform for application design. The PV Plus 700 terminals are designed for NEMA 12, 13, 4X (indoor-only) installations, and they have an operating temperature range of 0 to 55 degrees Celsius. The PV Plus 700 terminals are CE, c-UL-us, and C-TICK certified, and they support panel mounting.
