1395 Drives

Allen Bradley 1395 Drives

The 1395 drives is a family of digital DC drives by Allen-Bradley built to provide motor control solutions to a wide variety of applications. This drive series features microprocessor-based control for accurate, precise, and repeated control, and they are available as regenerative and non-regenerative DC drives. The 1395 drive series offers a wide range of drive ratings to accommodate every motion control application. Regenerative drives in this series are available in 230 Volts AC, 460 Volts AC, 575 Volts AC, and 600 Volts AC voltage ratings with 1 to 2500 Horsepower. non-regenerative drives are also available in 230, 460, 575, and 600 Volts AC voltage with power ratings from 1 to 2500 Horsepower. High-Horsepower 1395 drives (700 to 2500 Horsepower) with 1250 Amps, 1650 Amps, and 3000 Amps (regenerative) or 1250 Amps and 1650 Amps (non-regenerative) current are available in the 2361 CENTERLINE motor control center, and they provide DC control solutions to high Horsepower applications.

All 1395 DC drives are designed with fused AC inputs, DC contactors, and basic I/O interfaces. Options in this series include discrete adapter boards, digital reference adapter boards, node adapter boards, multi-communications adapter boards, auxiliary contacts, and multi-communications adapter boards for Remote I/O and Data Highway (DH-485) communication, line reactors, and dynamic brakings. All 1395 drives feature 6-pulse, full-wave rectified armature control, and they offer a performance range of up 0.01% of the set speed across a 10:1 speed range and 0.001% of the top speed across a 100:1 speed range (with an encoder). The 1395 drives have built-in instantaneous overcurrent and motor overload protection for smooth operation. Standard features for this series include programmable acceleration and deceleration times, preset and jog speed adjustment, and programmable current limit capability. The 1395 drives are open-type drives that can be installed in user-specified enclosures.
