The Kinetix 7000 series is a servo drive series designed by Allen-Bradley. These drives are designed to meet the demanding requirements of applications rated at up to 149 Kilowatts. They support 3-phase AC input (380 to 480 Volts AC) and DC input for commonly used bus applications. They also feature the safe-off capability which increases productivity by allowing the machine manufacturers to implement machine safety solutions and maximum machine availability. The Kinetix 7000 series drives provide integrated motion capability by using the SERCOS interface. The drives in this series are equipped with general-purpose connectors, safe-off connectors, SERCOS communication and optical power switches, SERCOS transmit connectors, DPI connectors, and SERCOS receive connectors. They also house the communication status indicators, drive status indicators, and bus status indicators. The drives in the series are available in a wide range of AC input current options. It is available in the range of 36.7 to 233 Amps. The continuous output current ranges from 0 to the peak of 351 Amps. The drives in the Kinetix 7000 series are 97.5% efficient.

The Allen-Bradley Kinetix 7000 drives use internal solid-state motor short circuit protection and they can be used on a circuit that is capable of delivering up to 200,000 Amps of current. The PWM frequency of this series is between 2 and 4 kHz. The ambient temperature range required for operating the Kinetix 7000 drives lies between 0 and 50 degrees Celsius. The drives have support for permanent magnet motors and induction motors. These drives can be used at up to a height of 1000 meters above sea level without getting derated. The Kinetix 7000 drive series has been certified with different agency certifications, including the CE, C-tick, KC, and other functional safety standards.
