About Panelview 300

The compactly manufactured PanelView 300 and Panelview 300 Micro terminals from Allen-Bradley feature a 3-inch monochrome display. The display shows status updates and information in blue. The resolution of the monochrome display is 128 x 64 pixels. The terminals work with 24 Volts DC voltage. The display area of all the terminals in this series is 2.87 inches in width and 1.67 inches in height. The backlight used in these terminals has a life of 100,000 hours. For entering input data, a keypad with navigational, numerical, and functional keys is included. The PanelView 300 terminals record critical timestamp data by using replaceable batteries. The batteries power the real-time clock used in these terminals. Some of the terminals in this series support ATA memory cards and some don’t.

For connectivity, the PanelView 300 terminals use the RS-232 (DH-485), RS-232 (DF1), and DeviceNet networks. The network status is shown on the display terminal. The terminal can be controlled using the PanelView 32 software too. The software runs on a personal computer. The DC power consumption varies in different PanelView 300 terminals. Some terminals in the series have a DC power consumption rating of 10 Watts and some have a power consumption of 25 Watts. The operating temperature of these terminal ranges between 0 and 55 degrees Celsius. The PanelView 300 terminals come with different enhanced features including alarms, screen security, analog gauges, and support for Micrologix controllers. The terminals have multilingual support with English, French, Italian, German, and Spanish Text options. The terminals in this series use 240 KB of application memory.
