About D100 Micro Programmable Logic Controllers

The Eaton Cutler-Hammer D100 Micro programmable logic controller series is a series of stand-alone, compact programmable logic controllers with central processing units (CPUs), built-in power supplies, built-in memory units, built-in high-speed counters, and input/output terminals designed to meet the requirements of most small-scale applications. The D100 Micro programmable logic controllers are available in 14 I/O, 20 I/O, and 40 I/O high-speed options, and depending on application needs, the I/O points can be expanded to up to 120 I/O points by using expansion modules. All controllers in the D100 Micro programmable logic controller family are expandable, and any number of expansion module combinations can be connected to meet the controller’s maximum I/O capability. The D100 Micro programmable logic controllers are programmed by using hand-held programmer modules with large LCDs and programming keys, and these hand-held programmer modules provide users with a means of monitoring system operation.

The D100 Micro programmable logic controllers are also programmed and monitored from connected personal computers by using Ladder Logic programming. Pre-programmed Programmable Read-Only Memory (PROM) modules can be attached to the controllers for the storage and retrieval of operation data in the event of the accidental loss of data, and for the reuse of programs in multiple applications. The D100 Micro programmable logic controllers have a 115 to 230 Volts AC voltage rating and a total power output rating 240 Volt-Amps (VA). Available modules in this series include analog input modules, protocol modules, multi-drop modules, time counter access modules, and an RS-422/232 converter module. The D100 Micro programmable logic controllers have operating ambient temperature ranges of 0 to 60 degrees Celsius and storage temperature ranges of 20 to 70 degrees Celsius.
