The Allen-Bradley N-Series Servo Motors are suitable for driving different kinds of industrial machinery systems. This series consists of motors with 115 Volts AC and 230 Volts AC rated windings, and they can operate with axial and radial loads in many applications. The N-Series Servo Motors provide up to 6000 revolutions per minute. They are designed to work with motion systems where a transistorized electronic amplifier is present and they can be mated directly to a machine or through pulleys or couplings. These servo motors feature a 416-grade stainless steel shaft. the N-Series Servo Motors feature high-energy ring magnet rotors with 4-pole winding configurations and 5 Volts feedback options including 1000, 2000, and 5000-line encoders. Holding brakes are also available with some motors in this series. These motors can be mounted in an enclosure as long as forced air is continuously blown across the motor to maintain its recommended operating temperature range of 32 to 104 degrees Fahrenheit.
The Allen-Bradley N-Series Servo Motors offer users the option of creating environmentally sealed packages by installing IP 65 rated shaft seals and environmentally sealed cables on the motor. The N-Series Servo Motors offer highly dynamic performance and continuous torque capabilities. They are recommended for use in non-corrosive environments within a relative humidity range of 0 to 95% (non-condensing). The motor cables for this series are available in up to 30-meter cable lengths. The Cat. No. 2090 power, brake, and feedback connector kits are also available for users who prefer to build their own cables. These servo motors have the following cable connector options: NEMA 23, 32, 42, and 56-Series power/encoder connectors, and a brake connector.
