About Pyramid Integrator

The Pyramid Integrator series is a series of Allen-Bradley programmable logic controllers. The Pyramid Integrator series features up to 49 entries. The Allen-Bradley modular form programmable logic controllers consist of a CPU module with a separate I/O module. The Pyramid Integrator series features chassis-based units supporting up to 8 modules per chassis. The components under the Pyramid Integrator series provide the users with an added functionality on the control systems.  The Allen-Bradley Pyramid Integrators are compatible with the logic processor daughterboard pyramid integrators. The Pyramid Integrators feature control functions from different sources and they support the ladder-logic programming. The units are programmed to source operational data from similar Pyramid Integrators, so long as these fall under the same chassis. For the Allen-Bradley Pyramid Integrators, a single chassis supports up to 8 modules.

When installing the Pyramid Integrators, ensure that the power is switched off, and check whether there is sufficient room for the specific module being installed. Before powering the application back up, it is important that the users verify that the module sits firmly on the backplane of the chassis. The module should then be secured in place, to ensure that there is no movement at all. When mounting an Allen-Bradley Pyramid Integrator, the users must ensure that they are using the mounting manual for that specific unit. Further, they must have the PI components, tools, and supplies that are required for installing the unit. The components should be mounted on the rack. Check to ensure that the rack or the panel-mounting procedure is followed correctly to ensure optimal performance.
