The Allen-Bradley PanelView 5310 Operator Terminals provides flexible, fast, and reliable ways to control and monitor the application processes in an Allen-Bradley L1, L2, or L3 CompactLogix controller or an Allen-Bradley ControlLogix 5579 or 5589 controllers on the same EtherNet/IP network as the operator terminal. It features touchscreen input options and the animated graphics offer a more interactive solution for monitoring the status of the connected machines. A backlit Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) or backlit Thin Film Transistor (TFT) color display unit is available on each PanelView 5310 terminal. The displays have 5.7-inch, 7-inch widescreen, 9-inch, 10.4-inch, and 12.1-inch widescreen sizes. The resolutions include 640 by 480, 800 by 480, 800 by 600, and 1280 by 800 pixels.
The Allen-Bradley PanelView 5310 terminals are equipped with advanced capabilities that offer better performances than traditional PanelView terminals. Some of these features include simple navigation options, support for up to 4000 Logix-based alarms in a single controller, and the ability to store up to 100 user-defined screens. The memory options of the PanelView 5310 terminals include 1 GB RAM and 1 GB of user-supplied nonvolatile memory. The terminals in this series also have provisions for Allen-Bradley 1784-SDx SD cards as well as high-speed USB 2.0 ports that support PC connections and file transfer. Analog-resistive technology is implemented on the touchscreens of the PanelView 5310 operator terminals. All of the human-machine interfaces in this series are programmable through the Studio 5000 computer software. They are available with 24 Volts DC input voltage, 15 Amps of inrush-current, and 9, 11, or 12 Watts ratings.
