Eaton Cutler-Hammer SVX 9000 Drives

The SVX 9000 Drives from Eaton Cutler-Hammer are known for their high performance and sophisticated features. They are adjustable frequency drives that use the sensorless vector control technology for the regulation and control of the torque and speed of different electric motors. The SVX 9000 Series Drives are suitable for both multiple motor drive systems and high-speed applications. The 9000 Series Drives are rated for heavy-duty performance and they can meet different application requirements. The SVX 9000 Drives can be operated at a temperature range between -10 and 50 degrees Celsius without getting derated. They fit into the IP 21 and IP 54 NEMA rated enclosures. They come with a 500,000-hour MTBF rating. All of the drives rated from FR4 through FR9 come with integrated 3% line reactors as standard options. The front part of the drives have human-machine interface modules that are easy-to-use and they help in overall control operation.

The SVX 9000 Drives come with 5 slots for I/O expansion and they also support plugin modules. They support optional Fieldbus connections which include the DeviceNet, LonWorks, and PROFIBUS-DP networks. They feature PID control and power factor correction for 1 to f5 pumps. The SVX 9000 Drives come with internal braking choppers at up to the FR9 frames. The servo motor drives use the Volts per Hertz control with boost and slip compensation features. The SVX series drives are equipped with protective features, including the overcurrent, overvoltage, undervoltage, earth fault, over temperature, motor overload, motor stall, and the motor underload protection. The drives are also protected against short circuits. The SVX 9000 Drives should be installed in a location without any heat-generating devices nearby.
