Allen Bradley PowerFlex 525

The PowerFlex 525 drives from Allen-Bradley feature a modular design for easy and quick configuration and installation. These drives include the integrated Ethernet communication ports, they provide power ratings of up to 30 Horsepower, they support global voltage classes (100 to 600 Volts AC), and they are well suited for conveyor, fan, and pump applications. The PowerFlex 525 drives feature detachable control power and power modules. The control module is a standard module and it can be used across the complete power range. The control module can be connected to a computer through USB cables for configuration uploads and downloads. PowerFlex 525 drives support 2 accessory cards.

Advanced control methods available on PowerFlex 525 include permanent magnet motor control and closed-loop velocity vector control. Volts per Hertz and sensorless vector control are also supported. Advanced positioning control options including closed-loop feedback with an optional encoder and the point-to-point positioning mode are also supported. PowerFlex 525 drives support 2 analog inputs, 7 digital inputs, 1 analog output, 2 opto outputs, and 2 relay outputs. The embedded Ethernet port facilitates configuration and control. The dual-port Ethernet option card supports the Device Level Ring topology for reliable connectivity. The safe torque-off feature on the PowerFlex 525 drives helps to protect equipment and users. The storage temperature for Frame A to Frame D PowerFlex 525 drives is from -40 to 85 degrees Celsius. The storage temperature for Frame E drives is from -40 to 70 degrees Celsius. With derating, the PowerFlex 525 drives can support up to 70 degrees Celsius.
