We offer extensive repairs for your N Series. We keep many spare parts in stock so that we can repair your N Series as efficiently and effectively as possible. Our standard repair lead time is 2-4 weeks. However, we can often repair your unit much faster if necessary. We can repair most issues with your N Series and if for some reason we cannot repair your unit we will do our best to offer a refurbished unit at the repair cost, so that you can get a working unit back as soon as possible!

Repair Details

The N Series is a series of Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation servo motors that are manufactured to drive industrial applications. The N Series motors are designed to be used as part of controlled systems, with a transistorized electronic amplifier. The N Series servo motors should not be used for direct connection to the power supply or used with thyristor drives. The installation of the N Series servo motors should be carried out by qualified technicians. Note that the large N Series servo motors are generally heavy. Therefore, when handling the heavy N Series servo motors, note that suitable lifting equipment should always be used. If the users are running loose motors, they should ensure that the rotating shaft is guarded and the motor should be restrained to prevent the movement of the motor. Check for damaged cables to prevent electrical hazards, especially when energizing the system.


When the N Series motors are coupled with sealed cable assemblies, an environmentally sealed package will be formed. The motors are capable of carrying axial loads in most applications. The N Series servo motors feature the holding brakes. The holding brakes are designed to hold the motor shaft, ensuring zero revolutions per minute. The holding brakes on the N Series motors are spring-set and release only brakes when the voltage is applied to the brake coil. Note that the holding brakes on the N Series motors are not designed to stop the rotation of the motor shaft. To prevent EMI noise, ensure that effective EMI control techniques are applied. This is made possible through isolated AC power transformers or by ensuring properly installed AC line filters.
