About 1336 PCB Boards

The 1336 PCB boards series is a series of PCB gate driver boards manufactured by Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation. The series of boards are designed to work as drive board spare parts for Allen-Bradley drives including the 1336 PLUS, FORCE, PLUS II, REGEN, and IMPACT adjustable frequency AC drives. Each of the PCB boards is a spare part for different correlating drives. They are specially designed and intended to operate with AC drives with a Horsepower rating of 3 to 800 Horsepower. These boards are powered through the adjustable frequency drive’s operating voltage. The 1336 PCB boards series comprise industrial gate drive boards that are suitable for control signal amplification on the AC drives in the 1336 series.

Since every switch requires a drive, switching the output on the industrial AC drives is done by the help of a PCB gate driver board such as a 1336 PCB board that uses a low power signal and amplifies it to a higher level of power for switching the IGBTs. This is an important component of the drive because it performs the high-voltage level-shifting applications required for reliable control of 3-phase motors. The permitted working temperature range for the 1336 PCB gate drive boards vary widely, for example, the Allen-Bradley 1336-BDB-SP19D gate driver board can operate at 0 to 40 degrees Celsius or 32 to 104 degrees Fahrenheit. When handling the 1336 PCB Boards, the users are advised to wear grounding straps around their wrists to avoid the manipulation of these boards when carrying out the installation, repair, or replacement processes. Additionally, before handling the gate drive board, ensure that it is shut down and that the capacitors are allowed enough time to discharge completely.
