About InView
The InView product series is a series of industrial message displays used in large factories and special environments. Generally, the InView message displays are used for visual communication in the factory. These reliable message displays are made by Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation and they are available in many variants. The InView series offers a variety of displays with different numbers of display lines, message colors, font types, character sizes, and effects. The manufacturers made sure that the product line covers the requirements of different applications through a wide choice of models. The InView message displays can be used for displaying information such as inventory data, alarm messages, safety instructions, and process state information for factory workers. These displays are compatible with controllers, computer-based systems, and other components that are part of an existing network.
In regard to environmental specifications, the InView series displays are designed for standard industrial temperatures (up to 50 degrees Celsius) and operation even in conditions of moderate vibration and shock. The series provides enclosures for either indoor or outdoor usage that are rated from NEMA type 4 to NEMA type 12/13. The InView displays support up to 5 lines of text and 20 ASCII or user-defined graphic characters per line. The display area sizes range from 300 x 50 millimeters (12 x 2 inches) to 1830 x 244 millimeters (72 x 9.6 inches). In addition to that, the series offers red or tricolor LED matrix display types. The basic InView series model has a 120 x 70 pixel resolution. These industrial displays can operate on 18 to 30 Volts DC (0.5 Amps at 18 Volts DC) voltage or 100 to 240 Volts AC (50 to 60 Hertz) voltage, depending on the model. The weight of the InView displays ranges from 0.85 to 64 kilograms (1.87 to 140 pounds). The InView series also provide optional communication modules for DH+, DeviceNet, ControlNet, Ethernet, DH-485, or remote I/O communication.
