About Kinetix 2000

The Allen-Bradley Kinetix 2000 servo drive system implements smart servo motor control to reduce the time required for machine operations, increase the safety of the users and the nearby equipment, and raise the positioning accuracy of a machine to the highest possible level, which will also improve product quality. These drives are high-performance machines that maximize productivity. Kinetix 2000 series servo drives are applicable only to low-power motion control systems that have the following power ratings, 50 Watts, 300 Watts, 600 Watts, 900 Watts, 1.9 kilowatts, and 3 kilowatts. These units are supplied with 230 Volts AC voltage, and there are 1-phase and 3-phase models available. The Kinetix 2000 multi-axis servo drives are designed to be integrated with the Allen-Bradley CompactLogix 1768-L4x controllers and to save programming and commissioning time.

The Allen-Bradley 2093 Kinetix 2000 servo drives are modular systems that can be further extended with new axes even after the initial installation process is done. The microprocessors integrated into Kinetix 2000 systems are able to automatically check the wiring between the drives and the servo motors and they can identify exactly which type of motor is connected to them. The Kinetix 2000 servo drive system includes a common power supply system called the Kinetix 2000 power rail that can accommodate 1 to 8 axis modules. For programming Kinetix 2000 series drives, the RSLogix 5000 programming software, or the Studio 5000 Logix Designer software can be used. The Kinetix 2000 servo drives are intended for installation in normal industrial surroundings with temperatures lower than 50 degrees Celsius.
