Motor Feedback and Power/Brake Cables

For each Kinetix 300 servo drive system, you’ll need to know the specific catalog numbers of the Kinetix 300 drive and servo motor/linear actuator combination to determine the catalog numbers of the motor/actuator feedback and power/brake cables required by the system.

Generally, Kinetix 300 drive systems require Bulletin 2090 motor/actuator feedback and power/ brake cables with threaded and SpeedTEC DIN connectors at the motor/actuator end. These cables are classified into two different types: (i) Standard, non-flex (often represented by AA), and (ii) Continuous-flex (usually represented by AF).

The Kinetix 2090-Series motor/actuator feedback cables include straight, rugged DIN connectors on the actuator/motor end and flying leads coupled with specific low-profile connector kits for drive-end terminations. They also come with 45-degree angled fittings on the drive end. The Kinetix 2090-Series motor/actuator power and/or brake cables include flying leads on the drive end along with straight, rugged DIN connectors that wire to compatible Allen-Bradley Kinetix servo motors or linear actuators.

Note: All flying-lead Kinetix 2090-Series motor/actuator feedback cables require panel-mounted breakout components or low-profile connector kits for drive-end terminations.
